The choir department collects a general assessment fee from each student to offset costs to the choir program that are not paid by the school district. These assessment include everything from supplying general items such as folders and pencils, copying music exercises, cleaning uniforms, and paying for accompanists. The cost of the assessment is determined by the student's choir.
- 1st, 2nd, and 8th Period - Belle and Panther Assessment - $40
- 3rd Period - Cantus and Voca Lyrica Assessment - $75
- 4th Period - Kantorei Assessment - $250 (includes all TMEA expenses, T-Shirt, Choir Parties, All-Region Entry, and special TMEA apparel.
We ask that all assessments be paid by the end of the first semester.
Students will financial need are encouraged to participate in fundraisers. We do not want any students to feel that they cannot be in choir due to assessments. Please email us if you have exceptional need.
